ORICO USB hub: compare ports and connectors

This ORICO listing groups USB hubs for connecting several accessories to a computer. A hub can be useful when you need space for a keyboard, mouse or other compatible peripherals and the computer has few free ports. List the devices you intend to connect before choosing the layout.

Identify the exact variant

The seller title advertises a 4-in-1 Type-C USB 3.0 hub, a Type-C power port and 5 Gbps. The published options include several YK and YKR model codes. Those different options should not be assumed to share the same input connector, number of outputs or cable length. Check the diagram and specifications of the selected code.

A Type-C socket does not promise every function

Confirm which connection carries data and which provides power. Do not infer display output or laptop charging simply from the presence of USB-C. The speed of a connected drive depends on the whole connection, rather than the hub’s headline rate alone.

Our USB-C hub guide explains the distinction between data, video and charging. These notes describe the listing and buying checks; we have not measured transfer performance or tested every variant.

Listing variants

Options and prices come from the source listing. A listing minimum is never assigned to a variant without a confirmed variant price.
